Both teams enter the BO3 at the bottom of the MPL Indonesia Season 18 standings amid early-season struggles, with Geek Fam ID winless at 0-5 after a 0-2 defeat to Dewa United on August 28 and RRQ Hoshi at 1-2 following losses to stronger sides like ONIC. Recent roster shifts introduce further variables: Geek Fam promoted roamer Frenzyy from its junior squad on August 26 while sidelining Audytzy and installing new head coach Erpang, while RRQ has integrated additions such as Lynch, loaned jungler Demonkite, and returning midlaner Clayyy. These changes coincide with inconsistent results across Week 2 and Week 3, leaving both sides seeking early momentum in a tightly contested lower-table matchup where historical head-to-head records and individual lane performances could prove decisive.

In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching.
