Dominic Stricker enters the first-round Sion Challenger match against Raphael Perot as the clear favorite on the clay courts at TC Valère, reflecting his higher ATP ranking near 336 and greater experience at the Challenger level. The Swiss left-hander benefits from home-country support in his native Switzerland while returning toward consistent form after prior back issues limited his schedule. Perot, a French player ranked around 345-353 with limited pro results, faces a tough draw in his first meeting against Stricker. The surface and indoor conditions favor established players with stronger movement and point construction, though any late fitness concerns could influence outcomes in this ATP Challenger 50 event.
