Han Shi holds a substantial edge over Yingqun Sun in the W15 Tianjin 4 hard-court match, driven by her WTA ranking near 262 compared to Sun’s 825 and her dominant 2026 hard-court record of 42-16. Shi has posted multiple ITF titles this season, including strong recent results on the surface in Portugal and Spain events, while Sun’s form remains inconsistent with a 13-15 seasonal mark and early exits in prior Tianjin draws. Their head-to-head stands at 1-1, but Sun’s lone win came in 2023; the higher-ranked Shi’s superior recent hard-court volume and consistency position her as the consensus favorite among traders. Surface familiarity and ranking gap remain the primary drivers.
