Recent form and Monza's high-speed layout, emphasizing straight-line pace and tire management, have bunched the implied probabilities tightly among Mercedes and McLaren drivers. Lando Norris enters on strong momentum after his Dutch Grand Prix victory and McLaren's post-Hungary upgrades that closed the gap to the leaders. George Russell and championship leader Kimi Antonelli, despite the latter's engine penalty dropping him to the back of the grid, benefit from Mercedes' historical strength at the Temple of Speed and consistent race pace. Ferrari's home support lifts Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton, yet their recent qualifying and execution shortfalls leave them behind the frontrunners. The spread across multiple competitive cars and variable strategy options for fresh-tire runs keeps the market contested.
