Barcelona and Real Madrid enter the 2026-27 LaLiga campaign as the clear frontrunners for Champions League qualification, with the Blaugrana seeking a three-peat after finishing eight points clear last season and the Merengues undergoing a major rebuild featuring arrivals like Bernardo Silva and others under new leadership. Atlético Madrid remain a consistent top-four presence under Diego Simeone, while Villarreal, Real Betis, and Athletic Club compete for the remaining spots amid an expanded European allocation. Early-season results and squad depth will shape momentum, though the long timeline allows for shifts driven by form, injuries, and European commitments. Trader consensus reflects these established hierarchies from recent title races and underlying metrics.

Resolution is based on the competition to which the listed team is allocated by the final 2026-27 LaLiga standings, the 2026-27 domestic cup results, and the 2026-27 UEFA competition winners. A place obtained by playing and advancing through the UEFA qualifying rounds held after the domestic season does not count, and movement between competitions caused by those qualifying rounds has no bearing on resolution.
Once it becomes mathematically impossible for the listed team to earn a 2027-28 UEFA Champions League place by these routes, the associated market will immediately resolve to "No".
If the 2026-27 LaLiga season is cancelled or postponed past June 14, 2027, 11:59 PM ET such that the 2027-28 UEFA Champions League places cannot be determined, this market will resolve to "No".
The resolution source for this market will be official information from UEFA and/or LaLiga; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
