Barcelona enter the 2026-27 La Liga campaign as clear frontrunners for a third straight title after dominant prior campaigns, bolstered by high-profile additions including Rodri in midfield and attackers Anthony Gordon and Karim Adeyemi. Real Madrid, now under José Mourinho, feature Kylian Mbappé and Vinícius Júnior up front alongside new investments and aim to reclaim domestic supremacy. Atlético Madrid’s long-standing consistency under Diego Simeone positions them as near-certain top-four participants, while Villarreal and Real Betis carry momentum from recent European qualification. Early-season results and the depth of the title race will shape the path to the four primary Champions League spots, with historical patterns favoring the established clubs over extended challenges from mid-table sides.

Resolution is based on the competition to which the listed team is allocated by the final 2026-27 LaLiga standings, the 2026-27 domestic cup results, and the 2026-27 UEFA competition winners. A place obtained by playing and advancing through the UEFA qualifying rounds held after the domestic season does not count, and movement between competitions caused by those qualifying rounds has no bearing on resolution.
Once it becomes mathematically impossible for the listed team to earn a 2027-28 UEFA Champions League place by these routes, the associated market will immediately resolve to "No".
If the 2026-27 LaLiga season is cancelled or postponed past June 14, 2027, 11:59 PM ET such that the 2027-28 UEFA Champions League places cannot be determined, this market will resolve to "No".
The resolution source for this market will be official information from UEFA and/or LaLiga; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
