**Atlético San Luis holds the highest implied probability at 49% for finishing second in the 2026 Liga MX Apertura, with FC Juárez at 23.3% and Necaxa at 20.9% reflecting trader consensus on mid-table contenders with upside potential.** Early-season results after six jornadas show América atop the tabla general on 13 points, followed closely by Tijuana, Atlas, and Toluca, yet these lower-ranked sides (San Luis on three points, Juárez and Necaxa near the bottom) benefit from favorable remaining schedules, home/away splits, and historical recovery patterns in the 17-match regular phase. Recent form includes San Luis’s string of draws amid a four-month winless streak, Juárez’s heavy defeats highlighting defensive issues, and Necaxa’s mixed results with goal-scoring flashes from players like Julián Carranza. Roster stability, coaching adjustments, and the shift to a direct eight-team Liguilla format without play-ins further shape positioning, as traders weigh momentum shifts and head-to-head records against current standings volatility in the July–December tournament.

In the event of a tie, this market will resolve to the team officially recognized by Liga MX as finishing in second place in the Apertura final phase. If multiple teams are officially awarded second place, the market will resolve to the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically.
If at any point it becomes impossible for the listed club to finish 2nd in the 2026 Liga MX Apertura competition (e.g. they are mathematically unable to achieve enough points), the market will resolve to "No".
If the 2026 Liga MX Apertura is cancelled, postponed after December 27, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no 2nd place team declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other".
The primary resolution source will be official information from Liga MX. A consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
