Otherwise, this market will resolve to “No”. A qualifying announcement will immediately result in a “Yes” resolution for this market, regardless of when the relocation is set to take place. The resolution source for this market will be official information from the MLS and/or the Vancouver Whitecaps; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.Recent negotiations between the Whitecaps, BC provincial government, and MLS have centered on long-term control or purchase options at BC Place, with officials signaling openness to lease or ownership structures that would boost revenue without relocation.
