The 2026-27 NB I season remains in its opening weeks, with most sides having played just five or six matches and defensive records showing little separation. Ferencvárosi TC and Győri ETO FC enter with the strongest recent clean-sheet pedigrees, yet Puskás Akadémia, Vasas, MTK Budapest, Újpest, Paksi SE, and Debrecen have all posted early shutouts while conceding at comparable rates. League-wide scoring hovers near 3.4 goals per match, limiting any side’s ability to pull clear quickly, while squad depth, goalkeeper form, and fixture congestion keep the group tightly bunched. Trader consensus therefore assigns broadly equal implied probabilities across the field until sustained defensive trends emerge over the longer campaign.
