This market will resolve to "Yes" if the listed club finishes in last place (20th) in the final standings of the 2026-27 English Premier League (EPL) season. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No". If at any point it becomes impossible for the listed club to finish in last place in the 2026-27 English Premier League (EPL) season (e.g., they are mathematically guaranteed to finish above 20th), this market will resolve to "No". In the event of a tie for last place, this market will resolve based on the club officially recognized by the Premier League as finishing in 20th place. If multiple clubs are officially recognized as finishing in last place, this market will resolve to the club whose listed name comes first alphabetically. If the 2026-27 English Premier League (EPL) season is cancelled, postponed after June 13, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no last-place club declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other". The primary resolution source will be official information from the Premier League; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used. The 2026-27 Premier League season has just begun, with the three promoted sides—Coventry City, Hull City, and Ipswich Town—widely viewed as the primary relegation candidates due to the typical challenges of adapting to the step up in quality, squad depth, and physical demands. Early results show mixed outcomes, including Hull’s opening win and Coventry’s defeat, while several established clubs have also started slowly amid managerial changes, fixture congestion, and transfer adjustments. With 37 matches remaining, the absence of a clear standout for the fewest points keeps implied probabilities tightly clustered, as form, injuries, and home/away splits can rapidly shift standings in a league where historical data shows promoted teams often finish near the bottom but rarely dominate the very last spot exclusively.
