David Raya enters the 2026-27 Premier League season as the clear market leader for most clean sheets, reflecting Arsenal’s status as title favorites with the division’s stingiest defense. The Spaniard claimed a third straight Golden Glove in 2025-26 with 19 shutouts while Arsenal conceded the fewest goals in the league en route to the title. Mikel Arteta’s organized backline, anchored by William Saliba and Gabriel, continues to limit high-quality chances, and Raya faces no rotation risk as the undisputed starter. Early 2026-27 results, including a clean sheet in the opener against newly promoted opposition, reinforce the narrative. Other goalkeepers trail significantly in implied probability because no rival defense matches Arsenal’s recent form, structure, or consistency in keeping opponents off the scoresheet.
