Ravens and Steelers enter the 2026 season as AFC North rivals with closely aligned projected win totals and overlapping strengths, producing the tightest implied probabilities for their season series. Baltimore’s new coaching staff under Jesse Minter and offensive coordinator Declan Doyle, paired with additions like Trey Hendrickson and a healthy Lamar Jackson core, supports a rebound from the prior 8-9 campaign, yet lingering questions around interior line health and a demanding schedule create uncertainty about consistent dominance in the two head-to-head contests. Pittsburgh benefits from Aaron Rodgers’ familiarity with Mike McCarthy, plus offensive weapons such as DK Metcalf and Michael Pittman Jr., and a defense that has historically performed well in rivalry games, keeping a sweep or split plausible despite lower overall win projections. Recent preseason results and last year’s Steelers sweep further underscore how small margins in these physical, low-scoring matchups sustain the balanced trader consensus favoring a 1-1 outcome.
