Recent results underscore the variance, as Sina Movahed, Hans Niemann, Jan-Krzysztof Duda, Lê Quang Liêm, and Magnus Carlsen have each claimed victories in the past two months while strong regulars like Hikaru Nakamura maintain form through consistent bullet and blitz performances. Factors such as individual matchups, opening preparation in rapid time controls, and fluctuating participation among players like Arjun Erigaisi, Alireza Firouzja, and Nodirbek Abdusattorov keep probabilities tightly bunched. Trader consensus reflects this parity across the large pool of contenders.
