BERG enters THE POKAL 2026 playoffs as the Open Qualifier #1 winner with a roster featuring asumex, conqa, Leyon, hypeRR, and kAy, facing invited side GamerZ Esports in a BO3. GamerZ, featuring players like Opex, verity, Spocki, Katuzo, and Terrox under coach Vinzenz, brings established DACH regional experience against a field that includes CGN Esports and Eintracht Frankfurt. Recent developments center on the double-elimination bracket format, where all playoff matches except the grand final are BO3, map vetoes, and patch 13.04 adjustments to the pool. BERG’s qualifier momentum and potential underdog status contrast with GamerZ’s invite seeding, while roster stability, agent compositions, and adaptation to the current meta remain key variables ahead of the September 1–13 schedule.

In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.
