Gilberto Mora, the 17-year-old attacking midfielder at Club Tijuana, remains under contract through 2029 following a June 2026 extension that includes a structured release clause, with the Liga MX club and owner confirming he will feature for the Apertura 2026 campaign. FIFA rules bar an international transfer until he turns 18 on October 14, 2026, delaying any move and keeping immediate probabilities anchored on Tijuana. Widespread scouting interest from European sides—including reported approaches or monitoring by Borussia Dortmund, Benfica, Liverpool, Arsenal, AC Milan, RB Leipzig, Barcelona, and Real Madrid—has created a crowded field without a clear frontrunner, as no formal bids have materialized and the player’s camp prioritizes regular minutes alongside development. This broad, unresolved competition, combined with variable reports on which clubs lead in active dialogue, sustains the bunched implied probabilities across multiple outcomes.
