LYON's stacked roster—featuring Inspired in the jungle, Berserker on bot, and Saint in mid—has powered dominant spring and summer form in the 2026 LCS, including a Spring title and frequent top standings that reflect superior early-game execution and snowball potential. This track record drives the market's heavy 92.5% consensus on LYON securing the shortest game, as traders price in the team's ability to close out series rapidly against weaker opponents. Other squads like Team Liquid or Cloud9 trail far behind due to inconsistent results and less aggressive pacing. Upsets could arise from stylistic counters favoring stall tactics, roster injuries, or patch shifts emphasizing late-game scaling over early aggression.

"Shortest" is determined by the in-game duration of each completed game, as recorded on the official post-game result and logged by the resolution source (the clock running from game start to the destruction of the losing team's Nexus / game end).
All completed regular-season games count. Seeding games (matches played solely to determine seeding or draw position) and playoff games do not count toward this market.
A game that is remade or restarted before completion does not count; only a completed, officially recorded game counts.
This market resolves to the team that won the game with the lowest recorded in-game duration across the qualifying games. If the two shortest games share the identical recorded duration, the market resolves to the team that won the game that occurred earlier in the schedule.
If the 2026 LCS Summer Split regular season is cancelled, or is not completed such that final game-duration data is not available by September 20, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve to "Other".
The primary resolution source for this market will be Leaguepedia (https://lol.fandom.com/wiki/LCS/2026_Season/Summer_Season); a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
