Shaun Deeb holds a slim lead in the 2026 WSOP Player of the Year race at 3,410 points after strong cashes across WSOP Europe and the Las Vegas series, with Naoya Kihara (3,388) and William Foxen (3,381) within striking distance following their own bracelet wins and deep runs. Foxen maintained the top spot for much of the summer through consistent final-table appearances, while Kihara's two bracelets boosted his total from fewer events. Only the top 15 scores count, leaving room for late swings in the upcoming WSOP Paradise schedule. This narrow gap among proven high-stakes performers, combined with variable point multipliers from buy-ins and finishes, keeps trader consensus tightly bunched around the leading trio.
