After two rounds, Ryan Gerard and Viktor Hovland lead at 10-under, while Cameron Young surged with an 8-under 62 in round two to join Scottie Scheffler at 8-under. Collin Morikawa and Chris Gotterup sit one stroke back, creating tight positioning around the projected cutline for top-20 finishes. Recent momentum from round-two scoring, combined with the compressed field and absence of staggered starts, has elevated several mid-tier qualifiers like Gerard, Young, and Min Woo Lee into strong contention, while established names such as Rory McIlroy and Patrick Cantlay trail and face pressure to climb the leaderboard over the final 36 holes.
