Bundesliga has kept the promotion race tightly contested, with 1. FC Nürnberg, Hertha BSC, and VfL Wolfsburg emerging as frontrunners after strong opening results while several other sides remain within striking distance. Wolfsburg’s Bundesliga experience and squad depth position them as pre-season favorites for an immediate return, yet Hertha’s attacking output and Nürnberg’s efficient start have narrowed the gap in trader pricing. Relegated clubs such as FC St. Pauli and 1. FC Heidenheim add further parity through established rosters, while promoted sides like VfL Osnabrück and Energie Cottbus introduce uncertainty at the lower end. This mix of recent momentum, historical pedigree, and schedule balance sustains the clustered probabilities across the field.
