Real Madrid leads the runner-up market at 60.5% implied probability because models and betting markets view Barcelona as the clear title favorite after back-to-back La Liga wins, including an eight-point margin in 2025/26. Barcelona strengthened further with high-profile additions like Rodri from Manchester City, Anthony Gordon, and Karim Adeyemi, bolstering midfield control and attack under Hansi Flick as they chase a third straight crown. Real Madrid, under new manager José Mourinho, addressed squad gaps via signings including Yan Diomande and Bernardo Silva but finished last season empty-handed and trail in projections at roughly 81 projected points versus Barcelona’s 91. Mid-table sides such as Atlético Madrid, Villarreal, and Real Betis sit at single-digit probabilities, reflecting their lower projected totals and limited title-challenger upside early in the 2026/27 campaign.
