Traders price an 79% probability of no change at the Bank of England’s November 2026 meeting, reflecting the Monetary Policy Committee’s July decision to hold Bank Rate at 3.75% by a 6-3 vote amid upside risks from elevated energy prices. July CPI rose to 2.9% year-over-year, with the BoE projecting a 3.2% peak in Q4 2026 driven by direct energy effects, yet core inflation and wage growth remain contained without clear second-round pressures. Recent softening in growth indicators and reduced market-implied odds of near-term hikes have reinforced expectations for steady policy, while upcoming September data releases and the November Monetary Policy Report will provide key signals on whether inflation persistence warrants any adjustment.
