If no decision on the Bank of Israel Interest Rate is issued by the end date of the next scheduled meeting, this market will resolve to the "No change" bracket. The Bank of Israel’s September 1 decision to cut its benchmark rate to 3.25 percent, the third consecutive reduction, has anchored trader expectations for a pause at the October 21 meeting. Annual inflation at 1.5 percent remains below the midpoint of the 1–3 percent target range, while the shekel’s strength continues to ease imported price pressures and one-year expectations stay subdued. Recent GDP data show solid expansion outside certain export sectors, supporting further accommodation in principle, yet fiscal uncertainties tied to defense spending and the late-October elections introduce caution. With the latest easing already delivered and no major new inflation signals since early September, market pricing reflects a strong consensus that the Monetary Committee will hold steady to assess incoming data before any additional move.
