The 2026-27 Bundesliga campaign has only just begun, leaving no goalkeeper with a meaningful early edge in clean sheets and keeping the market for the outright leader tightly bunched across multiple options. Bayern Munich’s continued dominance and low goals conceded create a platform for Manuel Neuer, though his age introduces rotation risk, while Borussia Dortmund’s elite underlying defensive metrics and recent clean-sheet tallies support Gregor Kobel’s standing. Moritz Nicolas, Mark Flekken, and others benefit from clubs with proven backlines and favorable fixtures, but widespread parity in squad depth, schedule difficulty, and pre-season form spreads probability across a broad field. Traders’ consensus, reflected in elevated “Other” pricing alongside clustered named keepers, underscores the season-long unpredictability of defensive outcomes in a league where multiple sides can sustain shutouts.
