Barcelona enters the 2026-27 La Liga campaign as the clear market leader for most clean sheets, buoyed by its status as two-time defending champion and 15 clean sheets in the prior season under Hansi Flick. Early results, including a 5-0 shutout of Elche, reinforce trader confidence in its organized backline and squad depth. However, the bunched probabilities around 45% for sides like Real Madrid, Athletic Bilbao, Atlético Madrid, and several mid-table clubs reflect a wide-open race driven by Mourinho's defensive emphasis at Madrid, historical solidity from teams like Getafe and Rayo Vallecano, and the limited sample of just one or two matches per side. Pre-season transfers, World Cup fatigue for key players, and typical early-season variability keep the implied probabilities closely contested across the field.
