The Hungarian NB I title race and European qualification spots remain fluid after the opening weeks of 2026-27, with Puskás Akadémia atop the table on strong early results while Győri ETO, MTK Budapest, Vasas, Újpest, and Paksi SE cluster tightly behind. Multiple clubs share comparable squad depth, recent form, and attacking output, producing no dominant contender for third place. Ferencváros has started slowly amid significant summer departures, while promoted sides like Vasas add further parity. This balanced landscape across roughly a dozen teams sustains tight implied probabilities, as small differences in results, injuries, or transfers could easily reorder mid-table positioning by season's end.
