The 2026-27 NB I runner-up market remains tightly contested because a deep group of clubs possesses comparable squad depth, attacking output, and defensive organization early in the campaign. Defending champions Győri ETO enter with strong continuity and home strength, while Ferencváros balances domestic fixtures against Europa League demands that have already limited their early points haul. Puskás Akadémia leads the table after five rounds on the back of a solid start, Paksi SE and Újpest show consistent scoring, and MTK Budapest plus Nyíregyháza Spartacus remain within striking distance through recent results. With 27-plus rounds remaining, injuries, European rotations, and head-to-head swings keep implied probabilities evenly distributed across the field rather than consolidating around one or two sides.
