The Peru Liga 1 clean sheets race remains tightly bunched because multiple sides post comparable defensive records through the Apertura and early Clausura phases, with no team establishing a commanding lead in shutouts. Alianza Lima’s superior aggregate goal difference reflects a sturdy back line anchored by goalkeeper Alejandro Duarte, while Sport Boys and Universitario have also posted strong clean sheet tallies behind reliable keepers. Mid-table and lower-placed clubs such as UTC Cajamarca and Cienciano retain realistic paths forward given their recent form and schedule remaining. Injuries to key defenders or goalkeepers, fixture congestion, and late-season momentum shifts could still reorder the standings before the campaign concludes.
