Any tiebreaker (extra time or penalty shoot-out within a qualifying tie) will not be considered separate from League Phase qualification. If the League Phase of the 2026–27 UEFA Champions League is cancelled, postponed to begin after September 8, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or the full 36-team League Phase field has not been officially confirmed by UEFA within that timeframe, this market will resolve to "No". The resolution source for this market will be official information from UEFA and/or the clinching team; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.**Recent playoff results on August 25-26 finalized the last qualifiers for the 2026/27 UEFA Champions League league phase.** Fenerbahçe advanced past Lyon on aggregate, AEK Athens eliminated Levski Sofia, Viking defeated Dinamo Zagreb, and Slovan Bratislava edged Celje in extra time, joining earlier playoff winners such as Bodø/Glimt, LASK, and Sabah. These outcomes, alongside the 29 automatic qualifiers from domestic leagues, completed the 36-team field ahead of the August 27 draw in Monaco. Trader focus centers on how the final playoff outcomes and upcoming pot assignments will shape league-phase matchups, with the expanded single-league format determining progression paths from September onward. Recent form, squad depth, and coefficient rankings continue to influence assessments of which sides are best positioned for strong starts.
