This market will resolve according to the fighter that is ranked first in the UFC Pound-For-Pound rankings on December 31, 2026 at 12:00 PM ET. If, for any reason, there is no fighter ranked first in the UFC Pound-For-Pound Rankings at this market’s check-time, this market will resolve to “Other”. The primary resolution source for this market will be official information from the UFC (https://www.ufc.com/athletes).Islam Makhachev holds overwhelming trader consensus as the UFC pound-for-pound leader through the end of 2026 due to his recent welterweight title defense at UFC 330, where he defeated Ian Machado Garry by unanimous decision to extend his Octagon win streak to a record 17 fights and surpass Anderson Silva’s mark. The Dagestani two-division champion’s sustained grappling dominance, four lightweight title defenses, and seamless move up in weight have entrenched him atop media and algorithmic rankings with no credible challenger emerging in the remaining months. Potential shifts hinge on an unlikely loss in his next welterweight outing against contenders like Carlos Prates or Michael Morales, or a surge of multiple high-profile victories by fighters such as Alexander Volkanovski or Ilia Topuria before year-end.
