This market will resolve according to the official UFC Featherweight division champion on December 31, 2026 at 12:00 PM ET. Only official UFC division champions will count. Interim champions will not count. If the relevant belt is vacant at this market’s check time, or there is otherwise no champion in the specified division, this market will resolve to “Other”. The primary resolution source for this market will be official information from the UFC (https://www.ufc.com/athletes).**Alexander Volkanovski (52.5%) and Movsar Evloev (43.0%) dominate the market because they are scheduled to meet for the UFC featherweight title in the UFC 333 main event on October 24, 2026, in Abu Dhabi.** Volkanovski, the current two-time champion in his second reign, reclaimed the vacant belt with a unanimous decision over Diego Lopes at UFC 314 in April 2025 and successfully defended it in their February 2026 rematch at UFC 325. He enters as the 37-year-old (turning 38 before the fight) with a 28-4 record, five prior title defenses in his first reign, and a style built on elite striking, wrestling defense, and fight IQ. Evloev, 32 and undefeated at 20-0 (10-0 in the UFC), has earned the shot through consistent decision wins over ranked opponents including Lerone Murphy (majority decision, March 2026), Aljamain Sterling, Arnold Allen, and others. His pressure-heavy grappling and pace have kept him atop the division rankings, though all of his UFC victories have gone the distance. Recent commentary from Islam Makhachev has highlighted Volkanovski’s age and suggested Evloev’s youth could prove decisive in a potentially competitive matchup. The October clash is positioned as the decisive factor for the remainder of 2026, with the winner almost certain to hold the belt through year-end absent injury or an immediate follow-up title fight. Lower-ranked names such as Jean Silva, Steve Garcia, and others sit at negligible probabilities because none have secured a title opportunity or shown the momentum to challenge the top two before the end of the year. Volkanovski has stated he has no immediate retirement plans unless the Evloev fight “goes terribly wrong,” while Evloev echoed similar sentiments, underscoring the high-stakes nature of the bout. Traders’ near-even split reflects the champion’s experience and recent form balanced against the challenger’s perfect record and stylistic threat.
