This market will resolve to "Yes" if Valve releases an operation to CS2 by the listed date (ET). Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No". For the purpose of this market, "Valve" refers to Valve Corporation, the developer and publisher of the Counter-Strike series. For the purpose of this market, a "CS2 operation" refers to a major, time-limited content update officially released by Valve for Counter-Strike 2, which may include: -A purchasable Operation Pass (or equivalent) with an upgradable coin, enhanced missions, and exclusive rewards. -A campaign of missions (e.g., weekly or star-based progression) in official matchmaking. -Exclusive new cosmetics (e.g., weapon collections, skins, agents, stickers) primarily tied to the operation. The primary resolution source for this market will be official information from Valve; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.Valve has yet to release any CS2 operation since the game’s 2023 launch, with the last traditional operation (Riptide) ending in CS:GO during early 2022. Traders price in low odds of a full rollout by typical deadlines because Valve continues delivering cosmetic content exclusively through the Armory pass system introduced in October 2024, which rotates skins, charms, and stickers without missions, campaigns, or seasonal modes. The most recent July 2026 Armory refresh coincided with Premier Season 5, Cache’s return to the active duty map pool, and C4 explosion changes, reinforcing the pattern of incremental gameplay and cosmetic updates rather than operation-style drops. Datamining earlier in 2026 flagged mission-point strings and coordinator updates, but no confirmation has followed, and Valve historically avoids pre-announcements. Resolution hinges on an official update containing a pass with upgradable coins and mission structure.
