The 2026 Chinese Super League runner-up market remains exceptionally tight because a broad group of clubs sits within a narrow band of points after 24-25 rounds, with no team establishing sustained separation behind runaway leader Chengdu Rongcheng. Beijing Guoan, Qingdao West Coast, Dalian Yingbo, Shandong Taishan, Yunnan Yukun, and Shanghai Port all hover in the mid-to-upper 30s on the table, while mid-table sides such as Shenzhen Peng City, Henan, Zhejiang, and Wuhan Three Towns stay within striking distance thanks to recent results swings, heavy point deductions across several clubs, and a compressed fixture list that offers limited recovery time. Inconsistent attacking output, defensive lapses in high-scoring matches, and the absence of decisive injury or lineup news have kept implied probabilities clustered between 42-50% for the leading contenders, reflecting the wisdom of crowds on the unpredictability of the remaining schedule.
