The 2026 K League 2 campaign features an unusually congested upper table after 22 rounds, with Suwon Samsung Bluewings (44 points), Seoul E-Land (41), Suwon FC (40), Daegu FC (39), and Busan IPark (38) separated by just six points and several others within striking distance. Recent results, including Seoul E-Land’s seven-match unbeaten run and a spate of draws among promotion hopefuls, have kept second place fluid. With roughly 12–15 matches remaining per side and the season concluding in late November, squad depth, late-window transfers such as Luis to Suwon Samsung, and inconsistent finishing continue to compress probabilities. Trader consensus therefore assigns roughly comparable implied odds to a broad group of mid-to-upper table clubs, reflecting the realistic chance any of them could finish runner-up depending on form over the final stretch.
