The 2026 K League 1 runner-up race remains tightly contested because Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors, Ulsan HD, Gangwon FC, Jeju SK, Pohang Steelers, FC Anyang, Incheon United, Daejeon Hana Citizen, and Bucheon FC 1995 sit within just eight points of each other after 24-25 matches, with the league set to split into championship and relegation groups. FC Seoul’s dominant 53-point lead has shifted focus squarely to this cluster, where recent results show fluctuating form—Daejeon picking up wins, Ulsan dropping points in losses, and midweek draws common among the group. Head-to-head results, home/away splits, and remaining schedule difficulty continue to shape trader consensus around these similar implied probabilities, leaving ample room for late swings before the December finish. Gwangju FC’s distant position reflects its ongoing struggles at the bottom.
