Ella Langley’s “Choosin’ Texas” commands near-certain frontrunner status for the Billboard Hot 100 dated the week of September 5 because it has already logged 19 non-consecutive weeks at No. 1 through late August, tying the all-time non-holiday record shared by “Old Town Road” and “A Bar Song (Tipsy).” Sustained streaming above 24 million weekly, strong country radio airplay, and digital sales leadership—bolstered by its crossover appeal and parent album *Dandelion*—have kept the track atop the chart despite months of competition. New releases from Olivia Rodrigo, Ariana Grande, Taylor Swift, and Morgan Wallen register minimal implied probability because none have posted comparable multi-metric gains in the current tracking period. An upset would require an unprecedented late-week streaming or sales surge from one of those tracks that eclipses Langley’s established hold, a scenario without recent precedent.
