The White Sox lead the AL Central at 69-63, 2.5 games ahead of the Guardians, with FanGraphs projecting them to finish around 85 wins and holding roughly three-quarters implied probability of capturing the division title. Chicago’s offense ranks among the league’s best in runs scored and home runs, fueled by young contributors like Colson Montgomery alongside veterans, supporting their first-place position after years of rebuilding. Cleveland’s rotation and bullpen have kept them competitive, but a post-All-Star slump has widened the gap. Minnesota, Detroit, and Kansas City trail by 5.5 games or more, with weaker records and lower projected win totals limiting their realistic paths. Traders price the White Sox as clear favorites while assigning the Guardians the primary challenger role based on current form and remaining schedule.

If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed team to be named the 2026 American League Central division champion per the rules of the MLB (e.g., they are eliminated in the playoffs), the corresponding market will resolve to “No”.
If the 2026 MLB regular season is cancelled, postponed after October 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no winner declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”.
The primary resolution source will be official information from Major League Baseball (https://www.mlb.com/); however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
