The Tampa Bay Rays hold a commanding 3.5-game lead in the AL East with a 79-54 record entering the final month, driven by consistent pitching depth and a 43-23 home mark that has kept them atop the division since mid-summer. Traders price the Rays at 61.2% implied probability to win the division, reflecting their ability to maintain separation despite a recent 5-5 stretch and a head-to-head edge over the Yankees. New York sits at 75-57 with the AL’s best run differential but trails after dropping series to contenders and facing a tougher remaining schedule. Boston’s 73-60 surge has narrowed the wild-card gap but leaves them six games back, while Baltimore and Toronto remain double-digit games out with minimal realistic paths. Late-season roster health and the Rays-Yankees season series will determine final positioning.

In the event of a tie, this market will resolve according to the official winner as determined by MLB rules. If multiple winners are announced then this market will resolve to the team whose listed nickname comes first alphabetically.
If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed team to be named the 2026 American League East division champion per the rules of the MLB (e.g., they are eliminated in the playoffs), the corresponding market will resolve to “No”.
If the 2026 MLB regular season is cancelled, postponed after October 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no winner declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”.
The primary resolution source will be official information from Major League Baseball (https://www.mlb.com/); however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
