The 2026-27 Primeira Liga season remains in its opening weeks, with most sides having played just three matches, leaving defensive records and clean-sheet tallies too early to separate contenders meaningfully. Porto’s flawless start (three wins, zero goals conceded) highlights its established backline and goalkeeper Diogo Costa, yet other clubs like Marítimo, Santa Clara, and Gil Vicente have also posted strong early results while conceding minimally. Historical patterns show that clean-sheet leadership often shifts among the traditional top sides and opportunistic mid-table teams depending on fixture difficulty, squad rotation, and goalkeeping form over the full 34-game schedule. Trader pricing reflects this broad parity, with no side holding a decisive edge in implied probability amid the long campaign ahead.
