Aryna Sabalenka enters as the two-time defending champion and top seed but arrives with uneven hard-court form after round-of-16 exits at Wimbledon, Toronto, and Cincinnati. Coco Gauff carries strong momentum from her Cincinnati title and Wimbledon semifinal, while Iga Swiatek has rebounded with a Toronto crown and Cincinnati semifinal. These results, combined with the trio’s prior US Open titles and consistent hard-court records, keep their implied probabilities tightly clustered. Additional factors include Elena Rybakina’s heel injury uncertainty, Naomi Osaka’s resurgence, and Mirra Andreeva’s rising consistency, all of which sustain a crowded field where recent North American swing performances and historical venue success shape trader consensus more than any single standout.
