The Azerbaijan Grand Prix at Baku City Circuit features one of Formula 1’s most unpredictable street layouts, with its 2.2 km main straight, heavy braking zones, narrow castle section, and frequent safety car deployments creating equal opportunity for incidents or bold strategy. With the 2026 season’s new power unit rules and Overtake Mode system in place, plus a tightly bunched drivers’ championship led by Kimi Antonelli and strong McLaren and Mercedes lineups, no single driver holds a decisive edge. Recent form across the grid, variable tire management demands, and the circuit’s history of chaos keep implied probabilities clustered near 49.5% for most entrants, reflecting broad trader consensus on the wide range of plausible outcomes.
