Nasir Idris of the APC holds an 84% market consensus as the likely winner of the Kebbi 2027 gubernatorial election, reflecting his position as incumbent after INEC declared him the victor in the 2026 supplementary poll with 409,225 votes to the PDP candidate’s 360,940. Tribunal rulings upheld his mandate, clearing legal challenges over eligibility and certificates. Recent catalysts include endorsements from APC stakeholders and external figures such as Borno Governor Babagana Zulum, plus party unity rallies affirming Idris as the consensus APC nominee. Abubakar Malami of the ADC sits at 8.8%, supported by his federal profile and the dismissal of a court challenge to his nomination, yet limited by ADC’s weaker organizational reach in the state and reported defections of rivals to his ticket. Multiple other listed candidates trade near 50%, indicating minimal liquidity and trader focus on the primary APC–ADC matchup ahead of the 2027 vote.

This market will resolve according to the listed candidate who wins the 2027 Kebbi State gubernatorial election. Any interim, acting, or caretaker Governor will not qualify.
If the results are not known definitively by October 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve to "Other".
To be elected Governor, a candidate must satisfy the requirements under Nigerian law, including receiving the highest number of votes cast and the constitutionally required geographic distribution of votes. If no candidate wins the election outright, this market will remain open to account for any further election or runoff, provided this occurs before the resolution deadline. If no candidate has been officially elected by the resolution deadline, this market will resolve to "Other".
This market will resolve based on the results of this election, as indicated by a consensus of credible reporting. If there is ambiguity, this market will resolve solely based on official results published by Nigeria's Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and Nigerian government sources.
