The Bauchi 2027 gubernatorial race remains closely contested, with traders assigning Yakubu Adamu the highest implied probability at 45.5% and Mohammed Abdullahi Abubakar at 37.5%. The August 2026 APC primary delivered a clear but not decisive win for Abubakar, who defeated several rivals including Yusuf Tuggar. Incumbent Governor Bala Mohammed’s influence and the recent Allied Peoples Movement sweep in local government elections have bolstered support for state-aligned candidates such as Adamu. Multiple parties have nominated contenders, creating fragmented vote bases across senatorial districts. Key upcoming catalysts include the PDP primary, potential cross-party endorsements, and any shifts in federal-state alignment that could alter candidate positioning before the 2027 general election.

This market will resolve according to the listed candidate who wins the 2027 Bauchi State gubernatorial election. Any interim, acting, or caretaker Governor will not qualify.

This market will resolve based on the results of this election, as indicated by a consensus of credible reporting. If there is ambiguity, this market will resolve solely based on official results published by Nigeria's Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and Nigerian government sources.
