This market will resolve to "Yes" if the listed team is determined as the champion of the NHL for the 2026-27 season. Otherwise, it will resolve to "No". If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed participant to be named as the champion of NHL for the 2026-27 season per the rules of NHL (e.g., participant is eliminated), the corresponding market will resolve to "No". If multiple teams are declared winners, this market will resolve in favor of the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically. If this event is cancelled, postponed after June 30, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or a champion has not been declared within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other". The resolution source will be official information from the NHL; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used. The NHL's 2027 Stanley Cup champion market shows tight clustering at the top because of deep league parity and broad roster depth heading into the 2026-27 season. Carolina Hurricanes, Colorado Avalanche, and Florida Panthers each sit at 10.5% implied probability, with Edmonton Oilers, Vegas Golden Knights, and Tampa Bay Lightning grouped immediately behind, as traders weigh recent playoff trends, offseason roster stability, and divisional balance. Multiple teams enter with comparable forward cores, goaltending options, and cap flexibility, while the long timeline to the playoffs leaves room for injuries, trades, and performance swings to reshape the field. This even distribution captures the wisdom of crowds pricing realistic title paths for a wide group of contenders rather than anointing early favorites.
