The tightly bunched mid-table standings after 17 matchweeks, with Tromsø holding third on 34 points ahead of Molde, Lillestrøm, Brann, Rosenborg, and Fredrikstad on 23-27 points, keep implied probabilities for third place clustered between 42-46 percent across a dozen clubs. Thirteen rounds remain, and recent results show inconsistent form among these sides, including Brann’s strong run of wins, Fredrikstad’s mixed outcomes, and Tromsø’s ability to maintain momentum despite tougher fixtures ahead. Bodø/Glimt and Viking have separated at the top, leaving the Conference League qualifying spot open to several teams with comparable goal differences and home/away records. This parity sustains the competitive dynamics reflected in current trader consensus.
