Alex Palou holds a dominant 91-point lead in the 2026 NTT IndyCar Series standings with three races remaining, driven by six wins, seven poles, and consistent top finishes across 15 events for Chip Ganassi Racing. His recent form includes strong results at Portland and Nashville that extended his advantage, even after a rare off weekend in Washington, D.C., where Kyle Kirkwood took victory and trimmed the gap. Trader consensus reflects this points cushion and Palou’s proven ability on road courses, street circuits, and ovals, making a fifth title highly probable. Only repeated mechanical problems, crashes, or extreme misfortune in the Milwaukee doubleheader and Laguna Seca finale could realistically allow Kirkwood or other contenders to close the deficit.
