Taylor Swift’s “The Fate of Ophelia,” the lead single from her 2025 album *The Life of a Showgirl*, holds a commanding 67% implied probability in the VMA Best Pop market due to its record-breaking streams, multiple weeks at No. 1 on pop airplay charts, and the video’s strong showing in Video of the Year. The track earned a Best Pop nomination alongside Ariana Grande’s “Hate That I Made You Love Me,” Olivia Rodrigo’s “Drop Dead,” and releases from Charli XCX, LISA, Sabrina Carpenter, and Tate McRae following the August 18 nominee announcement. With the ceremony set for September 27 and fan voting closing September 25, traders appear to be pricing in Swift’s commercial momentum and historical VMA success as decisive factors over the competitive field.
