Angel Reese holds a commanding lead in the race for WNBA rebounds per game leader, averaging 12.4 boards through 37 games while sitting more than a rebound ahead of Jessica Shepard's 11.1 mark. Her dominance stems from elite positioning, relentless pursuit on the glass, and a high-usage role with the Atlanta Dream that generates consistent opportunities, recently highlighted by a WNBA-record 26-rebound outing that also pushed her past the single-season total mark. Reese has led the category in each of her first three seasons, posting the three highest single-season averages in league history. With six games remaining, the gap leaves little room for challengers unless injury or unexpected rest sidelines her in the final stretch.
