The SV151 Charizard ex Special Illustration Rare sits at the center of trader attention, with recent raw near-mint sales clustering around $355–$378 and creating the near-even 51.5% implied probability on the Over side of $376.42. Anniversary-driven nostalgia demand and the set’s out-of-print status have provided structural support, yet softening weekly closes in Japanese variants and steady supply from graded population growth have kept momentum balanced. Short-term secondary-market volatility from eBay and TCGPlayer sales volumes, alongside competition from newer chase cards in Ascended Heroes, continues to offset bullish collector interest. Fresh chart data, any sealed-product reprints, or broader Pokémon TCG market shifts before the September 30 resolution could quickly tilt the closely contested odds.
