Netflix is expected to update its global Top 10 movies list on top10.netflix.com on Tuesday, September 22, 2026, 3:00 PM ET, reflecting viewership from the previous week (Monday to Sunday). This market will resolve to "Yes" if the movie this update ranks as the #1 global Netflix movie has a views figure greater than or equal to the specified amount, according to Netflix. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No". If multiple movies tie for #1, this market will resolve according to the view count of the movie whose listed title comes first alphabetically. This market will not consider hours viewed. The ranking is based on total views globally, as reported by Netflix for Global Top 10 Movies (English only). If the top10.netflix.com update does not occur by September 25, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve to "Other".**Tyler Perry’s “Why Did I Get Married Again?” and holdover thrillers like “The Whisper Man” and “Those Who Wish Me Dead” are shaping current Netflix movie viewership momentum.** New original releases, especially star-driven comedies and crime dramas, typically generate the strongest opening weeks, with recent examples posting 19–33 million views in their debut periods before tapering. Holdovers from prior weeks, family animations such as “Puss in Boots: The Last Wish,” and catalog titles compete for remaining audience share, while weekly chart updates reflect global and U.S. performance separately. Netflix drops fresh titles regularly, so the #1 spot can shift quickly based on marketing push, critical buzz, and algorithmic promotion. Traders watch for Friday premieres and mid-week Tudum or FlixPatrol updates that reveal whether a newcomer sustains momentum or cedes ground to established hits. View counts for the weekly leader generally cluster in the mid-to-high teens or low twenties unless a major breakout occurs.
