The closely contested NFC North matchup, featuring split home/away games on Thanksgiving and in Week 17, drives trader consensus toward a 1-1 series split. Both clubs enter 2026 with strong rosters and playoff expectations after a competitive 2025 campaign that saw the Bears claim the division and the Lions finish 9-8. Detroit’s rebound hopes center on Jared Goff’s offense and a favorable schedule, though offensive line setbacks like Cade Mays’ wrist injury and multiple defensive absences on the PUP list introduce uncertainty. Chicago’s recent form and divisional edge add balance, making one-sided sweeps less probable absent major late injuries or momentum swings.
